 Blog post 7

Owl, Bird, Book, Wise, Nature, CharacterChanges to my Study programme

This theme is rather challenging to think about because it involves a sort of  a new"proposal" to the academic programme.

We all know that we live in a very competitive world and experiences in the job market have announced that a degree itself is not indicative of a well-rounded graduate so can universities provide additional development opportunities to complement academic curriculum?

It is a difficult question to be answered because it has a lot of edges and corners, starting by the implementation of the curriculum, the development of the student´s knowledge and a range of co-curricular activities.

So, I encourage you to reflect a little about your academic life and what you would change.
Think about, (for example):

> The curriculum (the subjects you have to study) and co-curricular activities (sports, part-time work, volunteering, etc)

> Workload and length of studies

> Faculty facilities (buildings and infrastructure)

> Use of technology

> Teaching methods

 Blog post 6- Postgraduate Studies

Hello everyone! Resultado de imagen para teaching a language images

Today´s blog session is about your academic future.  Have you thought about taking a course after you graduate?

You will probably answer "no, not yet" , but I invite you to think  if you were given the opportunity to do it, what type of course you would like to take?

I have always been willing to learn new things. I am passionate about my career and get the best  skills to continue encouraging my students  and appealing them to  develop their learning and skills in order to know new languages and be able to communicate with many different cultures.

What about you? Would you like to do postgraduate studies after you graduate?

Include:

  • Reasons to do the course
  • Subject(s) you would like to study
  • Where you would like to study (Chile or abroad)
  • How you would like to study (distance learning, blended system, part-time course, etc)- Any other relevant ideas
